About Our Kids Camps

School of Send believes in bikes, community, and stoke for all. We are committed to creating a positive environment of inclusiveness and connectivity for riders from all backgrounds, gender identities and expressions, races, cultures, and beliefs. We want riders to feel supported and ready to send it!

No matter the level or ability, our camps help all riders accomplish the following goals:

Increase skills and confidence in the following areas:

  • Position and balance

  • Operation of controls

  • Terrain awareness

  • Direction control

  • Pressure control

  • Timing and coordination

Establish awareness and understanding of trail etiquette.

Please find our camp descriptions below. If you have any questions about which camp your child should attend, please contact us. Getting your rider in the right camp is key to providing a safe, fun environment for them to progress.

SOS Strider/Early Pedaler

The goal for these camps are for striders and early pedalers to build skills such as trail scanning to gain a better understanding of the terrain and to understand basic bike etiquette. The will learn how to ride with friends and respect the trail and other trail users.

Riders must have pedaled around dirt trails before and/or be able to self start on their early pedal bike.

Pre Send for Ages 5 & 6 and 7-10

The goal for these camps are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with body position, braking and overall control.

Riders signing up for this camp must be able to comfortably ride a bike with hand brakes and should have fun riding trails such as Family Man, Seven Streams, Eight Track, and El Dorado.

Full Send Intermediate for Ages 7-11

The goal for these camps are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with body position, bike compression, control descending in steeper/technical terrain, and how to safely navigate all rollable drops/jumps.

Riders who sign up for this camp should feel comfortable and have fun riding trails such as Grand Prix (GP), Float On, and Kleeway. Riders should want to start riding steeper and more technical terrain.

She Sends

The She Sends camps are for female and female identifying riders.

The She Sends Beginner goals and requirements are for riders to have solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with body position, braking, overall control, and terrain awareness. Riders who sign up for She Sends Beginner/Intermediate must be able to comfortably ride a bike with hand brakes and should have fun riding trails such as Family Man, Seven Streams, Eight Track, and El Dorado. In this camp, they will ride those trails and work up to Lower GP and Kleeway.

The She Sends Intermediate/Advanced goals and requirements are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with body position, bike compression, control descending in steeper/technical terrain, and how to safely navigate all rollable drops/jumps. Riders who sign up for She Sends Intermediate/Advanced should feel comfortable and have fun riding trails such as Grand Prix (GP), Float On, Kleeway, and Mitchell Ridge.

Senduro

The goal for these camps are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with bike compression and unweighting (air), how to safely navigate small gap drops/jumps, and control in technical terrain descending/climbing. Riders should also be interested in fitness for riding.

Riders should feel comfortable riding Bad Motor Scooter, GP, Float On, Kleeway, and Mitchell Ridge. They should want to ride faster and explore some jumps. Riders must be willing to earn turns (climb a bit).

Full Send Air Intermediate/Advanced, Ages 10+

The goal for these camps are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with bike compression, timing, and bike flight/air awareness for medium-large gap jumps.

Riders should have a minimum of two years riding experience. They should be able to clear all jumps on Middle School in Family Man and be ready to ride or already riding Three Blind Mice with the goal working up to Drop Out, Extended Play, and other bigger jumps and drops in Post Canyon.

Weekend Camps

The goal for these camps are for riders to have a solid understanding and demonstrate proficiency with body position, braking and overall control.

Riders signing up for this camp must be able to comfortably ride a bike with hand brakes and should have fun riding trails such as Family Man, Seven Streams, Eight Track, and El Dorado.
